Framed pigment prints. Dimensions variable
After relocating to New York in 2010, Scozzaro revisits fragments of memory, people, and places of his native Italy through the lens of distance. This temporal and spatial detachment allows him to reconsider notions of family, cultural identity, and personal history.
The works reflect a tension between intimacy and estrangement, examining how the passage of time reshapes perception and how photography can both preserve and transform lived experience.
