l’oggetto is the musical side of NY-based Italian multidisciplinary artist Marco Scozzaro. With roots in ’90s subcultures, he DJs and produces underground house music, blending jazz/funk grooves, electronic transcendence, and a distinctly Italian vibe. Together with Pietro Di, and true to a shared DIY ethos, he co-founded MKDF Records to release and distribute his uncompromising sound.

ITALIAN TENDENZA, 2023 - ongoing


Italian Tendenza is a monthly two-hour sonic journey through underground dance music, hosted and curated by l’oggetto. Moving between Balearic atmospheres, jazz swagger, groovy funk, abstract electronic soundscapes, and deep, percussive house tracks, the show explores the enduring cross-pollination of sound cultures between Italy, Detroit, Chicago, New York, and beyond.
At the heart of Italian Tendenza is a commitment to digging, connecting, and sharing with the community. Alongside his own production and mixes, l’oggetto invites artists from the underground to contribute guest mixes, creating a space for different perspectives, discoveries, and musical connections.
