NEURONI MIRROR, 2009

C-prints on Dibond and acrylic, 40 x 60 cm

Mirror neurons represent a distinctive class of neurons that discharge both when an individual executes a motor act and when he observes another individual performing the same or a similar motor act. They are considered the biological base of imitation. Scozzaro uses this metaphor to talk about homologation as the risk associated with following mainstream culture without a critical point of view.
