With his project l’oggetto, Marco Scozzaro produces underground house music, blending jazz/funk influences with a deep Italo flavor.
Starting off in hardcore-punk bands in the ‘90s, Scozzaro eventually embraced club culture, electronic music production, and DJing.
In 2020, he co-founded MKDF Records with Pietro Di to release tracks that have been lying in his studio for too long.
“Musica da Discoteca” is a series of EPs exploring the musical connection between Italy, Chicago, Detroit, and New York. Deep bass, dirty grooves, dreamy pads, and obsessive samples build up in these 4 new tracks, as an homage to underground dance music from the ‘90s.
